Climbing indoors twice a week. 10 with a muscular build. I started 4 months ago. Roughly 3 hours each time. Climbing is insanely tiring for the body (obviously you know if you’ve tried). Typically I only go once week and I'm curious how often y'all go. Climbing shoes should last about 3-9 months if you climb once or twice a week. On my sport climbing days I’m rarely climbing more than 4-6 pitches in a day. In season, whenever I can a weekend (2-3 days) at the crag so then it’s more like 5 climbing blocks a week. 11 or easier, start with two sessions of 30 minutes with a 30-minute rest between them.
